Mentorship program
-for students at the faculty of social science and for journalist students
During the spring term, the social sciences student union will start a mentorship program and also a parallel mentorship program for students of journalism.
The meaning of the program is to give students an insight into the working life; we will give you the tools to make a contact with a professional person active in business or at the municipality. This person will then be your mentor and will serve as a launching pad in questions regarding life choices related to your field of work/study. The mentor should also be a support in discussions concerning papers and graduate work.
The mentor in question will assist you as much as possible with their time and experience, you will also be invited to a mingle to meet the other mentor pairs.
The mentorship will primarily be for 20 week; then it will be up to you if the contact will be maintained.
Applications must be in by February 23,
Shortly after, a selection process will commence. The chosen students will be summoned to a meeting to get more information about the program and the mentors.
