Election Committee

The Election Committee consists of one president, four ordinary members and two alternate members. They are responsible for the arrangement of the Representative Assembly election which takes place in April and October every year. In the election all members of the union get the opportunity to vote for their candidates for the highest decision making body of the union.

The Election Committee prepare the elections made by the representative assembly; meaning they interview candidates for internal positions of trust such as the board and the fulltimer positions. After this they nominate one person per position, or decide to propose to leave it vacant, and present this to the representative assembly. Elections to the positions of trust are predominately held during spring, and this is when the Election Committee is most active.
