The Representative Assembly is the highest decision-making body of the student union. It is the Representative Assembly that establishes the statutes, by-laws and opinion programme. The Representative Assembly also elects people to the internal and external positions of the student union, takes decisions about bigger issues affecting the organisation and what shall be the focus of the student union as well as how the student union’s resources shall be allocated.
The spring 2022 meeting of the Representative Assembly will take place on 14-15 May in the LUX auditorium. All members of the student union are welcome to attend the meeting and speak during discussions!

A detailed schedule will be sent out together with the meeting documents later on, but prepare yourself for the meeting to run from appr. 9 AM to 5 PM, both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday evening, we will have a social activity and Eurovision final get-together at Samvetet (the student union house) for all who are involved in the Representative Assembly meeting.
Other than the dates above, there will also be a kick-off for the members of the Representative Assembly organized, date TBA shortly!
During the Representative Assembly meeting, elections will be held for all positions of trust within the student union for the coming year. All positions open for election have been announced on the website (see the button above!) and the last day to candidate within the ordinary application period was April 6th. Right now, the Nominating Council is conducting interviews and will be suggesting (nominating) candidates to the RA based on the interviews and other material submitted by the candidates. The nominations of the Nominating Council will be made public on April 25th (preliminarily). After the nominations are published, it will be possible to counter-candidate to positions with nominated candidates until 29 April, and to positions without nominated candidates until 13 May.
N.B. If you, as someone counter-candidating, want your candidacy to be part of the meeting documents, you must submit your counter-candidacy no later than 29 April. All counter-candidates will have the opportunity to submit a text where they introduce themselves and let the RA know why they are running. Send your counter-candidacy to firstname.lastname@example.org!
Motions and interpellations
All members can bring errands for the Representative Assembly to discuss by sending in their own suggestions, or questions to those who hold positions of trust within the student union. A submitted suggestion is called a motion and a question to someone in a position of trust is called an interpellation. The deadline to send in motions was 14 April, and the deadline to send in interpellations is 21 April, 11.59 PM. Click the button above to read more about how to go about sending an interpellation!
If you have any questions, large or small, send an email to email@example.com!
