The role of Presidial responsible for Student Welfare Matters encompasses four main areas of responsibility: the stuent union’s finances, national education policy, equality and diversity issues, and Studentlund and other external collaborations. The role also includes helping individual students with different issues related to their education. Since you will work with national education policy, your job will include some trips within Sweden. Since this is a presidial position, you can also be elected as President of the Social Sciences Student Union.

Qualifications
In order to be comfortable in this position, you need to be structured, responsible and want to make connections. You need to be interested in and understand the education policy matters that affect social sciences students, and have knowledge about political processes.
High proficiency in Swedish and English is a requirement
Merits
- Knowledge about finances and economy
- Experience of working in an organisation
- Previous involvement in student life (not necessarily the student union, though that is beneficial)
Instructions
The application period is 24 March – 6 April, 23:59. Note that the possibility to nominate someone else closes 31 March, 23:59. Your application should include both a CV and a personal letter.
Your personal letter should include the following: A short introduction of yourself and which position you are applying for; Relevant previous experience; Why you are applying; Your visions for the student union.
